Womenpreneur Legal is an initiative of Womenpreneur Middle East and does not itself provide legal services. Legal services are provided by PSP Legal Consultancy Ltd — Legal Consultancy Licence No. MC 14132, Masdar City Free Zone, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how WOMENPRENEUR MIDDLE EAST/ WOMENPRENEUR LEGAL and PSP Legal collect, use, share and protect personal data in connection with the website, enquiries and (for PSP) client engagements. PSP acts as an independent controller for personal data processed in the course of any engagement it accepts.

3. Personal data we collect
Depending on your interaction, we may collect:
- Enquiry/contact data: name, email, phone, organisation, role, country, message content, scheduling details.
- Website and device data: IP address, browser/device type, OS, referral URLs, page interactions, cookie identifiers, approximate IP-based location.

- Directly from you (forms, email, calls, engagement).
- Automatically via website: cookies, analytics, server logs.
5. Purposes and lawful bases
We process personal data to:
- respond to enquiries and communicate with you (contractual/legitimate interest);
- operate, secure and improve the website (legitimate interest / consent for non‑essential cookies);
- other purposes disclosed when data is collected. Where PDPL requires consent (e.g., non‑essential cookies, direct marketing), we obtain explicit, informed consent and keep records.
6. How PSP collects and processes client data (PSP‑specific)
PSP may collect enquiry and client matter data, undertake identity verification and due diligence where required, process limited sensitive matter data only when necessary, and store client matter files in accordance with professional obligations. PSP acts as an independent controller for client engagements and will provide its engagement terms and privacy details to clients at the outset.
7. Data sharing and disclosure
We do not sell personal data. We may share data with:
- PSP Legal – (PSP is a separate controller for data processed under its engagements)
- Service providers (hosting, email, cloud storage, analytics) under Data Processing Agreements.
- Professional advisers (accountants, auditors) under confidentiality obligations.
- Regulatory or judicial authorities when required by law.
- Client‑authorised third parties where you instruct us to share information.
8. Retention
We retain personal data only as necessary for the purpose and to meet legal/professional obligations:
- Enquiry data: up to 12 months after last contact, then deleted or anonymised.
- Website analytics: aggregated/anonymised data retained longer; raw logs typically deleted within 26 months. Specific retention periods available on request.
9. Your rights
Under PDPL you may (subject to verification and legal limits) request:
- Access to your personal data;
- Correction of inaccurate data;
- Deletion/erasure (subject to retention obligations);
- Restriction of processing;
- Objection to processing (including profiling/legitimate interest grounds);
- Data portability where applicable;
- Withdraw consent where processing is consent‑based.
10. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data (TLS/HTTPS, access controls, secure cloud hosting, encryption where appropriate, staff training). No system is completely secure; in the event of a data breach we will notify affected parties and authorities as required by law.
11. Children
The website and services are not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we become aware of unlawful collection from a child, we will delete the data and notify guardians where required.
12. Complaints and supervisory authority
If you have a complaint about data handling, contact the relevant controller detailed above. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent UAE or free zone supervisory authority.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Material changes will be posted on the website. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
